- It's 1/2 litre of milk.
- It's 2 tbsp of corn flour.
- It's 2 tbsp of Glycerol monostearate commonly.
- It's 4 tbsp of bournvita.
- It's 2 tsp of coffee.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of milk powder.
- You need 5 tbsp of jaggery powder.
- You need 1 tsp of choco essence.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of white and dark chocochips.
Homemade Bournvite Jaggery Ice cream step by step
- Firstly Keep 1/2 ltr milk for boiling On low flame.
- After the 1st boil add simmer the flame and let it boil for 3-4 mins..
- Now take 1 cup cold milk in a glass and add cornflour milk powder bournvita coffee jaggery powder and GMS and mix well..
- Make sure that there are no lumps of any powder..
- Now strain this powdered milk and add to the boiling milk..
- Keep stirring so that that there no lumps....
- Boil for 2_3 mins off the flame.. Let it cool at room temp but keep stirring so that cream does not forms on it..
- Once cooled freeze it for 4_ 5 hours.
- Now remove and cut into pieces and whisk it with a beater till the mixture is smooth and fluffy and double the quantity.
- Now add essence and 2 tbsp of bournvita and slightly mix it. Add chocochips and freeze till it is set..
- It will take about 7-8 hours to set well..
- While serving serve with chocolate sauce or chocochips as per your choice.
