Recipe: Appetizing Paan Icecream

Paan Icecream. Because paan is so popular, treats made with same flavor are also quite popular like my very famous Paan Coconut Ladoo and ice cream. You only need to mix in everything together and freeze it, that's it! Paan icecream, wow. this recipe is just awesome, it just taste as if i am eating chilled sweet paan.

Paan Ice-cream is a perfect dessert recipe after a heavy and hearty meal. Paan ice cream step by step. You can have Paan Icecream using 11 ingredients and 13 steps. Here is how you achieve that.

Ingredients of Paan Icecream

  1. You need 1 litre of milk.
  2. It's 1 1/2 cup of sugar.
  3. It's 1 1/2 cup of cream.
  4. It's 1/4 cup of cornstarch.
  5. Prepare 4 of beetel leaves (paan leaves).
  6. You need 5-6 of dried dates soaked overnight (chopped).
  7. It's 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder.
  8. It's 1/4 cup of gulkand.
  9. It's Pinch of green food colour.
  10. It's 1 tsp of fennel seeds.
  11. It's as needed of For garnishing coconut powder saunf and gulkand.

Wash the paan leaves and grind them into a fine paste along with the lemon juice in a blender. Sieve through a strainer and keep the juice aside. Deseed and finely chop the kharek. Paan ice cream, without ice cream maker, a delicious Indian ice cream made using paan leaves.

  3. In a bowl mix together the paan juice,chopped dates,cardamom powder,fennel seeds and gulkand keep aside..
  4. Dissolve the cornstarch in 1/4 cup of cold milk keep aside..
  5. Place the rest of milk in a pan to boil for 15 minutes.
  6. Add sugar, stir..
  7. Add cornstarch stirring continuously. Add green food colour..
  8. Remove from the flame allow it to cool..
  9. Add paan flavoring mixture and cream to the milk..
  10. Mix well and pour in a shallow dish freeze for half an hour..
  11. Remove and beat with a hand blender..
  12. Freeze again for 5-6 hour or until firm..
  13. Scoop and garnish with coconut powder, saunf & gulkand serve chilled..
